Young adults in our community face formidable barriers to employment: limited job skills, spotty work histories, lack of professional networks, and many have involvement with the criminal justice system. Without access to opportunity, these young people drift toward illegal activities or permanent unemployment, missing their chance to build stable, purposeful lives.
Our 12-week intensive job training and placement program gives young people the skills, confidence, and connections they need to secure quality employment. We teach job readiness, professional skills, and financial literacy. We connect participants directly with employers committed to hiring people from disadvantaged backgrounds. We provide ongoing support after placement to ensure success.
"I didn't think anyone would hire me because of my record. Now I'm working a job I love, earning real money, and I can finally support myself and contribute to my family."
— Marcus, Program Graduate, Now Supervisor
Employment is transformative. It provides not just income but dignity, purpose, and hope. When young people who have faced barriers find stable work, they change their lives. They become taxpayers instead of dependents. They become role models for younger people. They break cycles of poverty and crime. They become assets to their communities instead of liabilities.
For about $3,000 per person, we can provide intensive training and placement support that leads to stable employment and transformed lives.
